The famous "Daiquiri Factory" started in 1981 with a drive-through store in Lafayette, Louisiana specializing in one thing . . . Daiquiris. The concept was original, the store was the first of it's kind. Being the pioneer of any new idea always has it's price. At first they were laughed at. After the store opened and everyone tasted the product the laughter stopped and the daiquiris flowed. Success came instantly. Similar daiquiri operations started springing up all over the nation almost over night.
Back then, the only way to have the best daiquiri possible was to make everything from scratch, using fresh ingredients, and that's what the Daiquiri Factory has done. Today's technology allows them to make the same quality products they did back then, but in a dry mix. Now you can enjoy them at home anytime. Just add 4 ounces of your favorite white rum.
What I like about this daiquiri mix is the wonderful, delicate, light flavor. This is not one of those sickening sweet mixes. The flavor is very "real" and tasty. Bert Frilot - Pure Cajun Products
