"Cajun Country Candies"

Cajun Country Candies are
homemade on location in Scott, Louisiana from special recipes. Owners Roy
and Windy Babineaux have been in the candy business since 1985 when they
opened a retail candy outlet. Windy has been making fudges and New Orleans
type pralines since she was 13 years old. Using her mom's recipe and a
little instruction from her mom, she quickly learned to make delicious
candies. As time went by, the Babineauxs often gave the pralines and
fudges as gifts for Christmas and birthdays. The candies were so well
accepted, that if people did not get any at Christmas or other special
occasions, they were disappointed and many of them suggested that the
Babineauxs sell their candies.
They eventually opened a retail candy outlet and added some other homemade
specialty items. Five years later they began to sell their candies
nationwide and it has been enjoyed by many. Only the finest ingredients
are used in making the candy and all of them are made by hand.
